Adventure North Professional Outfitter invites you to experience world-class fishing and hunting experiences in the unspoiled eastern frontiers of Canada's Newfoundland and Labrador. Adventure North operates the Crooks Lake Lodge 60 miles south east of Goose Bay, Labrador. The lake is five miles long with rivers and streams full of big "Brookies" that run between 2 and 8 pounds. Large Northern Pike, up to 20 pounds, are plentiful. The main camp with full amenities including generated electricity and refrigeration is limited to six guests per week with emphasis on personal attention and service. Boats and motors are provided with one guide for every two fishermen. For the avid hunter, Adventure North will fly you to the Cormack Lake Hunting Camp about 55 miles southwest of Deer Lake, NL. Cormack Lake Camp offers moose, woodland caribou and black bear hunting. Hunting season begins in mid September and ends late October.
